I thought the Methodist church was open and affirming - I guess not if they are trying their Lesbian minister in Church Court for not complying with a lifestyle consistant with the teachings of the Church.

What was her crime? She legally married her partner of 9 years in Portland. They have a 5 year old child together.

Oh, yes, let's prosecute a woman for legalizing her marriage, stabilizing her family, instead of "living in sin". They should be applauding her, not threatening to take her ministry away from her.
